I’m new to FryAway. Which product do I use?

Use FryAway Pan Fry if you fry with smaller quantities of oil—2 cups at a time.

If you use larger amounts—8 cups at a time—choose FryAway Deep Fry.

But if you want more flexibility, FryAway Super Fry is your best bet. It comes with a scoop, and you can solidify 1 cup of oil per 1 scoop of FryAway, for up to 1 ½ gallons of oil!

How do I know when to use FryAway?

FryAway works its magic when the used cooking oil is still hot. Turn off the heat sprinkle and stir in FryAway until fully dissolved, then let cool and discard. That’s it!

Can I make the oil solidify faster?

Once FryAway has been mixed into the oil, the faster it reaches room temperature, the faster it will solidify. We recommend enjoying your fried goodness while FryAway does the dirty work!

Can FryAway be used on animal fats, like bacon or meat drippings?

Yes! Start with HALF of the recommended amount of FryAway for the quantity of grease you want to treat. Remember if there is liquid mixed in with the oil (as with meat drippings), FryAway will act like a magnet and only solidify the oil. The remaining liquid/juices can be safely discarded down the drain.

HOW TO USE – HOT OIL REQUIRED: Oil must be at least 170°F to work (reheat if cooled). If oil is not hot enough, it will not solidify correctly. Sprinkle in FryAway oil solidifier, whisk until completely dissolved, then remove from heat to cool and harden.
