It is in 2001, in the South of France, in the heart of Provence, that Panier des Sens is born. We develop for almost 20 years our product skills with the masters soap makers from Marseille and parfumers from Grasse unique know-how. Our natural and vegan formulas are designed and conceived in Provence, always encouraging short circuits and local partnerships.

Marseille’s reputation for high-quality soaps is built on a rich tradition and skilled craftsmanship, making it a global reference. Panier des Sens draws on this expertise to create a collection of soaps, including perfumed and shea butter varieties. Made with over 95% natural-origin ingredients, these quadruple-milled soaps are enriched with nourishing oils like shea butter, known for their moisturizing and softening properties.

Manufacturing Process

Saponification

Saponification is the essential process in soap-making. Oils, soap noodles, sodium hydroxide, and water are mixed according to the product formula. The mixture is stirred to obtain a homogeneous base.

Colours and Fragrances

Colorants, fragrances, preservatives, and water are added according to the formula. The soap is stirred after each addition.

Quadruple Milled

The soap is rolled several times between large rollers until a homogeneous paste is formed. This method, whether quadruple milled, ensures a high-quality soap with no impurities.

Moulding and Packaging

The soap is pressed and stamped into a soap mold. It is then dried for one week before being packaged.
