I started Curie because I care about the ingredients I put on my body, and was frustrated that natural products didn’t work as well as chemical-filled stuff. I loved the idea of natural deodorant, but didn’t love the results (read: I smelled). We developed and launched our aluminum-free deodorant in 2019 and quickly grew a cult following because it ACTUALLY works! Taking care of your body shouldn’t come with a sacrifice. Does Curie deodorant prevent sweat?

Our products are aluminum-free, and therefore are not antiperspirants. However, most customers find they sweat less once switching to Curie. Your body is meant to sweat. Our formulas help absorb wetness and prevent odor, keeping you fresh all day.

Does Curie deodorant stain clothing?

No, buh-bye pit stains! Our formulas are water-soluble, and will not leave marks on clothing. Our Deodorant & Body Spray will go on clear, no matter what color you wear. Our stick deodorant will easily wash out with normal laundering.

Will Curie irritate my skin?

Curie is formulated for sensitive skin. It contains less baking soda than many natural deodorants, making it gentler. For external use only. Do not apply to broken skin. Discontinue if irritation or rash occurs.

What does your fragrance ingredient mean?

Every single ingredient you’ll find in our products has been tested for toxicity and safety – and that includes our fragrances as well, which are made up of essential oils, plant extracts, and safe synthetics.

Is there a transition period when you switch to aluminum-free deodorant?

A brief 7-10 day transition period is completely normal. We recommend using our Armpit Detox Mask to help speed up this process. It purifies your pores of all aluminum, product buildup, and toxins, making your natural deodorant more effective.
