This Liquid Eyeliner has quickly become my new holy grail eyeliner, earning a full five stars without a doubt! As someone who struggles to find an eyeliner that truly lasts all day without smudging or fading, this one has exceeded all my expectations for an eyeliner I found on Amazon! I'm a nurse, so I work long shifts with few breaks (and always seem to break a sweat) so I need makeup that stays in place without me having to check up on it or reapply/clean it up. The application is smooth and precise. The "easy to grip" design of the pencil makes it very comfortable to hold, giving me excellent control for creating both sharp, fine lines and a bolder winged look. It's a unique type of grip that really stands out among the billion eyeliners out there. The matte black shade is intensely pigmented, delivering a rich, dark line with just one stroke, which is perfect for making my eyes pop. But the real magic of this eyeliner is its long-lasting, waterproof formula. I've worn this through long workdays at the hospital, humid/rainy weather, and even a few emotional movie scenes, and it has stayed perfectly put! There's absolutely no smudging, flaking, or fading, even on my oily eyelids. It looks just as fresh at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it. I also appreciate that it's cruelty-free, which is a big plus for me. I tested it out on my hand/wrist before using it near my eyes to ensure my sensitive skin didn't have a bad reaction to it. During this test, it really impressed me! Not only did my skin not have any sort of reaction, it lasted for DAYS through showers and frequent handwashing/sanitizing. That gave me the confidence to try it out at work, and it didn't disappoint!
While it worked I really enjoyed how easy it was to use and how well it stayed on my eyelids but it dried out pretty quickly after about two months of minimal use.
