I'm not really sure if I like the scent, it's kind of a spicy scent, not mildly pleasant. But the scent goes away when you actually use the product and you're left with like a base soap scent without any added scents. It lathers up well.

Despite the black color of this soap, it does create a fine, nearly white colored lather. It lathers up very nicely, cleanses well, and after rinsing, it left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. It was not drying at all. I only noticed the scent directly from the dry bar of soap. Once it lathered on my hands, the scent almost all but disappeared.
